OH-WI-OH

Toledo, OH was not my most favorite stop but it wasn't
without charm. We took a day trip up to University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where we had an AMAZING lunch at Zingerman's, saw some friends, and I sat in on Aaron Berofsky's violin studio class. This stop also gave me the opportunity of catch up with college friends Bob and Ashley Mirakian who are both working with the Toledo Symphony and have a beautiful home in Toledo.
It should not go unmentioned that the Stranahan The
atre in Toledo is attached to a huge vacant Masonic Temple ???

En route to Appleton, WI, Will and I spent 24 hours in Chicago. It was so wonderful to be back home in Chicago. Even more
wonderful were the old friends I was able to see in my brief time there. When I first started touring I was worried I would lose touch with many important people in my life. It can be tricky to maintain relationships when you're not around people every day. Since I've been on the road, though, I've caught up with more friends and strengthened a lot of friendships. Maybe it's the homelessness talking or the repetition of One Day More , but I have a new-found appreciation for the wonderful people around me and gifts they bring to my life.

Providence, RI

I love Providence, RI! We only have one more day in this city and I'm sad to be saying goodbye. We've had beautiful crisp Fall weather and I have felt healthy and happy :) Returning to work for Tuesday's show felt like sensory overload but it's great to be working again. The PPAC where we're playing is HUGE and appears to draw style inspiration from gold sparkle spew--naturally I love it.

Thursday I did some exploring with Jill, Steven and Will. We walked around the campuses of Brown and RISD and found an awesome pizza place, coffee, and some retail therapy.

This morning Will and I did some shopping at the adorable boutiques on Westminster St. Now to the theatre for a weekend of doubles. I'll miss you Providence!
